Hi there, I'm encountering a pretty significant bug in Captivate 12 that could cause major issues in one of my projects. And yes I am using the most recent version of Captivate 12, and working from a local drive.
My course uses the header for displaying the course title, as well as having a hamburger icon in the top right representing the TOC that the user can toggle on and off with instead of using the playbar.
However, my course has become quite large (127 slides long, 493 Mb) and I noticed that for some reason the icon in the header is no longer visible... it is there, but it is acting like the color has changed on the icon. When I go to select icon to change the color, the program crashes and says "An unexpected error has occured, which may cause Captivate to behave unexpectedly. You can restart Caaptivate with Backed-up project." However, even starting it up with a backed up project, this error still occurs. It lets me change the text and solid fill, but any time I touched 'icon' it crashes.
I'm also having an issue where if I scroll through the film strip and select a slide to look at, I will get a prompt that asks if I should wait for captivate or close it as it is not responding. I tell it to wait and it eventually catches up, but I feel like captivate should not be struggling this hard... IMO the course is not very complicated, though does contain software simulation slides which I've read online are especially buggy.
Is there any way of fixing this?
