Re-attempting a Quiz Question with a Different Question

New Here ,
Jul 21, 2015 Jul 21, 2015

What would be the best way of creating a question pool in an Adobe Captivate quiz? If the user answers a question incorrectly, I would like the user to re-attempt this but with a different question for a similar topic. I am thinking about using slide re-direction and/or failure levels, but would like to know if there's a better way. Thank you.

Do you have to report to a LMS? If you use question pools, as long as you remain in the session, same question slide will be presented on a second attempt. If you navigate them to another random slide, you could get another question but all scores of all question slides will be included in the values of the quizzing system variables. If you have 3 random question slides about the same topic, and they each have a score of 10 points, the maximum score will be 30 points. That means that a user that has the first question correct will get only 10 out of 30 points. If you do not report to a LMS this can be solved with advanced/shared actions and user variables.
