I am having an issue with Captivate Classic.

I have a slide with many text call outs on a video.  The Video position is set as

Top 0%, Left 0%, width 100% and Height Auto.  When testing the video resises properly for the various devices (Specifically Desk Top and iPad (horizontal).  There are perhaps 12 or so callouts.  All have positions set at:

Top x% Relative, Left y% Relative, width z% and Height Auto.  When testing against the various devices all callouts behave as expected (they remain locations wise as they should) except for one?  I have specifically checked the one not properly positioning and verified the Position is set like all the rest.

In the CpC Layout review I can see all the callouts positioning as expected except this one. I get the same sysmtomif I preview the project.

Anyone know what I might be missing?

Although the positioning settings might be the same on this object as all the others, I would suggest looking for anything else that is different about it.

  • Is it set to be a button while all the others are just shapes?
  • Does the text inside it contain a hyperlink.
  • Is there an advanced action involved?

It could be that something entirely unexpected is affecting the CSS behind the scenes that is controlling the positioning for this object.
