Remediation - Go to next question

Is there any way to advance to the next question automatically when you use the "Return to Quiz" function.

Also if you do that will the LMS track the answers correctly

Return to Quiz process means that when the user submits an answer that fails to correctly answer the question then the Jump to Slide action you specify for the ON LAST ATTEMPT event will trigger and they will be jumped to the remediation slide.  When they click the button on that slide that is set with the Return to Quiz action, then they are returned to the same question they failed and are given another extra attempt to correctly answer it.  So they DO NOT go to the next question, but back to the same one.

This is the way Captivate works by default and there is no default option to change the flow.  If you wanted it to work somehow differently (for example to jump to the question AFTER the one they failed instead) then you would need to set up a custom solution using variables and Conditional Advanced Actions or Shared Conditional Actions.

Rod explained fully the meaning of Return to Quiz in the Remediation context. I wonder if this is how you are using that command? It is meant to be attached to a custom Next button on a content slide.  That Next button will have a double functionality:

• When the content slide is entered from another content slide, the Next button will go to the next slide although the command is 'Return to Quiz'.
• When the content slide is entered, using the Last Attempt action of a quiz slide, the button will return the learner to the quiz slide, and allow another attempt. If that attempt is another failure, learner will be navigated another time to the content slide. As long as the question is not answered correctly this eternal loop will continue.
