Resize course window...controlled by Captivate or LMS?

I'm not sure if this is more of a Captivate question or an LMS-specific question, so apologies if it's not relevant.

I'm working with a client that uses a Moodle LMS that is configured to launch a course in a new browser window. I've been testing the course myself in SCORM Cloud and noticed that in both Moodle and SC, the course content is slightly squished and some graphics/text overlap each other. Manually adjusting the browser window solves the problem but it would be better if the window size opened to the correct dimensions right off the bat. My client said that the LMS is configured for 1040x724 and in Captivate the project size is 1024x627.

I'm using the Captivate skin for navigation and publishing to HTML5. Is the skin throwing off the course sizing somehow?

Can anyone tell me if there's a way in Captivate to specify a larger window display size, or would that be configured in the LMS settings?

Thanks!

This is not something you control from within Captivate.  It's done in the LMS settings. Whenever I had to use Moodle and launched courses in a new window rather than the frameset option, it always took a little time playing around with the Admin settings inside Moodle to work out exactly what exact height and width the new window needed to be so that there were no scrollbars.

I think your Moodle admin just needs to do the same.  It's not just the size of the Captivate stage plus the height of the playbar that you have to allow for.  There's also about 20 mm of dead space around the Captivate content.  In any case, a few minutes spent experimenting with the settings should solve what the dimensions of the window need to be set at.

Thank you, Rod! I'll pass that information along to my client.
