Responsive project doesn't seem to be working

I understand theoretically how the responsive project is supposed to work, but the images and text aren't re-sizing properly. When I go to view the project and select the tablet size, the text doesn't even appear on the screen and the image is way off to the right hand side. Basically, it looks plain horrible. Is there a known issue regarding Responsive Project settings not rendering properly?

First question is not only which version you are using (exact number) but also which work flow if you are on the latest version CP2017: Fluid boxes or Breakpoint views?
