Hi
I have a course with a slide video.
I also have some interactive buttons that popup, pause the video, and when the user interact with the button the video continues.
Now when building this course as responsive I have run into some problem.
I need the buttons and everything else I put on top of the video to keep the position when rescaling everything.
Now when the user flips their phone. the buttons are no longer visible.
Any solution to this? Can I work with master templates for this?
Why do you need a responsive project in that case? If you have only slide video and a menu? Use an interactive video, and publish it as Scalable HTML. Here is an example of such an interactive video:

Too many users use Fluid Boxes projects where it is totally unnecessary, and than get into issues like the one you described.
You can have a slide video in a Fluid Boxes project, as I described in the first link offered, but it will be on

You cannot have a slide video in a fluid box. Since you talk about a responsive project, I wonder how you set up the slide with the video? Stacking objects is also impossible in normal fluid boxes. Or are you using Breakpoint views to develop the responsive project?
I wrote a blog post about using Interactive video in a Fluid Boxes project:

Will take a look at yout post.
I just imported the video as a slide video and set the top distance in pixels so it line up nice with the rest of the project now.

I think the breakpoint solution will work best for me. Thank you, actually never had a look at this before. I am a bit confused though. When I create the project in portrait mode for mobile (wich is what most users will use) I then have to add the actions manually on the buttons in all the other resolutions? This cant be the case so I guess I am doing osmething wrong?

Since the launch of Fluid Boxes with CP2017 (was in 2016) Adobe is very quiet about the older workflow with Breakpoint views. There are not even any themes for that workflow anymore, and certainly no assets.
You need to create a responsive project with Fluid Boxes, use the Project menu, Switch to Breakpoint.
The idea in that workflow is to start with the Desktop mode, all lower resolutions can inherit from that mode but you can edit those modes.
What do you mean exactly with your last question: "I then have to add the actions manually on the buttons in all the other resolutions?". I suspect you try to start with the lowes resolution in portrait mode?
Know that creating a responsive mode with Breakpoint views (up to 5) will take a lot more working hours. I compared the workflows in this older post:

Beware: CP2019 was not yet released when I wrote that post. Fluid Boxes got some more features, Breakpoint views got lower in the dungeon.

Thank you. I can see how that could be a better solution. Since I have a lot of interactivity on top of the videos everything will rescale correctly then. I will try this out. Again. Thank you! .)

You're welcome. I regret the emphasis put on Fluid Boxes projects by the marketing people. Use the proper tool for your goal, and that is not always a full responsive project.
