I have working on a project, which i using custom player controls, like play pause toggle, replay. previous, next, audio on/off and transcript buttons, All i have controlling using advanced action. And except transcript button, i have assigned rest to project,

Now, while previewing it working fine but after publishing, whichever object we assigned rest to project are on top of ever rest are loading on each navigation, it resemble like blink.

And, can we restrict rest to project, say for example i want that to be used till slide 10 after i don't want to show/ used.

I hope i get answer,

Can you explain little bit more? Alternative is to use shape buttons on the master slide(s), which is probably an option for most of the shape buttons you mention. You talk about advanced actions, for several of those buttons one shared ation is possible. Have a look at this blog post:

What Adobe software are you using? You've posted in the Forum Comments forum (which is for issues with the forums, not support for Adobe software).

I'm going to guess Captivate based on your other threads.

If that's not right, please let us know so a moderator can move your thread to the right forum.

However, if you want to restrict the number of slides, you have two possibilities:

  • use two different master slides
  • hide the shape button(s) using the On Enter event of the slide; be careful when you allow free navigation (with progress bar or TOC), because you better use an action on Enter for each slide, where you show the button or hide it depending on what you want.
