What's the best way to explain Round Trip Editing between Captivate and PPT?

I rarely, if ever, import a PPT into a CP project - it's just too limited.
However, unless things have changed recently, the general process is:
1. Create a new CP project
2. Import a PPT
3. Edit project as required.
If changes to the PPT content are required, you need to update the original PPT (be sure it's in the same folder location) then update the project.
These may help:

Thanks for the links.
By same folder location do you mean the same exact folder? If so, why is that?

When you import a PPT into CP, the CP project remembers where that PPT was located.
So when you need to update the project with any changes to the PPT, the project looks to that original PPT location.
You can work around that - pretty sure CP will ask you where the PPT is if it can't find it in the original location.
Or you can make a changes to the PPT elsewhere, then copy it to the original location, rename the previous one to something like 'version 1' then rename the update PPT to the exact same name the original file had previously (when imported).
But it may be easier if the edits to the PPT can be made in the location where it was imported from (depending on your workflow).
