SAP LMS

Hi Folks,

I'm just wondering if someone can help me please with this question.

If I am working through a module as a learner and I am on a particular slide and then click a button to look at further resources which opens a website.

1. Can I conduct a report from an SAP LMS or another LMS which tells me how long a student spent on a particular slide and does the LMS timeout if I am looking at a site for too long?

2. If I aggregate projects and upload these to an LMS do they load separately as swf or purely as one file? and if the user only completes 1 out of 3 modules does it report incomplete for the other two?

Much appreciated if you could advise me of the above.

Thank you,

Cheers

Erika

The LMS should have information on how long you spend in a SCO, but has no way of knowing how long on any given slide. You would need to use JavaScript to store this information in a variable and write this info to the cmi.comments.

Time-out is a function that is set in the LMS as Lieve informed.

Hi folks,

In regard to question 2 I have just seen from the discussion board that I should be using Multi SCO packager.

Thanks for answering this question.

As for your first question: this should be a functionality of the LMS, not Captivate.
