Hello
I have courses that are compiled using Captivate 8. The course files when uploaded to SCROM cloud work as they ought to. However, when uploading to an LMS the scoring function renders the following discrepancy: despite completing the course with 100 % of the questions correct the results reflect only 80%. I've checked the wieghting of the quiz section and it is correct. Might this be a Captivate concern or rather inherent to the LMS?
Looking forward to your responses

Did you check the Advanced Interaction panel (F9), to see if you have perhaps a different total score because of scored objects?

Great! Cool idea. But just to check... would that not have presented
itself in the scorm tests?

It can be due to the LMS, what are your SCORM settings, but it is always good to check that too much ignored Advanced Interaction panel, now that it is even deeper buried in that new UI of CP8 with loss of workspaces if you use the newbie interface.

If something works in SCORM Cloud as expected but fails in your own LMS the issue is ALWAYS with the LMS. Usually it's just some quirk in the way that particular LMS is interpreting the SCORM standard. But typically they will ALWAYS blame your content.
Banging the LMS people over the head with SCORM Cloud is your best weapon. They HATE having their LMS compared unfavourably to it.

I must say that I have a sneaky suspicion that that is the case! And to
add to that I have tested my file on other LMS platforms and it works
there...so might it be safe to conclude its a question of quirk?!
I'm going to try the Advanced action aspect out though too.
Many thanks - your responses are hugely helpful!
Take care

Sorry, I was not speaking about advanced actions (my specialty) but about the Advanced INTERaction panel, those are two totally different things.
BTW, I deleted your credentials from your last post, this is a public forum, you don't want spam I suppose.

Had to take out your credentials again. Can you check, please? I think it happens when you answer by mail, your signature with those credentials gets inserted automatically.
