SCORM saves in a question slide instead of the results slide

The SCORM contains an evaluation that has three attempts to be answered; when answering an attempt at the end it takes you to the results screen, however we noticed that if the user exits the assessment after reviewing their results upon re-entry, the SCORM opens to one of the last questions of the assessment instead of the results screen. It doesn't matter what intent it is in, if the user exits the course after completing their last intent this is repeated and even allows them to post a new answer to that question.

At the end of the evaluation, the SCORM communicates the grade obtained in the LMS, but even so, when closing it and reopening it, it allows you to modify the answer and if it is correct, the score is updated. We notice that if we put 11 questions instead of the 12 we have, this does not happen. If we put more than twelve questions, it always opens at number 11 or 12. Does anyone know of a configuration that we are ignoring?

The client wants to add questions in his evaluation, but we can't since users can modify the results, any ideas?

Thanks Lilybiri, it seems that the course was too extensive and had problems saving the data,  so when the users finished the quiz, although the SCORM was recording the quiz answers and reporting the score to the LMS, when they re-entry the course they did not appear on the results screen, but on some random one (we suppose that is as far as it was possible to save the data). We change it to SCORM 2004 and is working just fine.

To give you an answer to this thread, please give some more details:

  • Since this is apparently a translation of the Spanish version, terminology is a problem. I suspect you are talking about a quiz used as assessment, but that is not clear. You could also have included scored objects. Is it possible to post a screenshot of the Advanced Interaction panel (F9) to see all scored objects and quiz slides?
  • You talk about 'attempts'. I suspect you mean attempts on quiz level, not on question or scored object level? To understand my question, here is a blog post explaining the difference:
    https://blog.lilybiri.com/quiz-basics-3-attempts-and-scores
  • If the attempts are on Quiz level, it would be great to see the settings in Quiz Preferences, Pass or Fail and Quiz Preferences, Settings.
  • You also point to what happens when starting a new session. For that reason it is important to see Quiz Preferences, Reporting, and include also the dialog box Advanced.

Sorry for all those questions, but there are partially due to the language which is probably Spanish in your case. Do not worry if the screenshots are from the Spanish version.

OK, the Resume data list is a lot more limited in SCORM 1.2 than in SCORM 2004 which explains why switching you got rid of the problem. I should have thought about asking you about the amount of data to be transferred to the LMS.
