Screen is cutoff when used in LMS- must scroll to see navigation

When we publish a course in Captivate 8 or 9 and put onto an LMS (Moodle, Blackboard), the screen gets cut off and we must scroll to see the navigation.

We've tried varying the screen resolution and have no luck.

Did you take into account the real estate needed by the LMS, by (eventually) the playbar when choosing the resolution for the project?

We're working with a vendor that made templates for us in Captivate 8.

Our tech requirements are to function on laptop and tablet for use on an LMS with SCORM.

I'm not sure what the vendor did to account for the LMS real estate. At first, we thought it was just issue with Retina display.

They provided templates with:

1024 x 768. When these did not work, they also then tried a rescaled view at -----867x650

In testing they say they function fine in browsers set as low as 1024 x 768, they are using moodle 2.9 but "they are not testing "to ensure the content is displayed to the user in a specific way under an LMS."

In our testing, we've converted them to Captivate 9 and tried on Moodle xx and Blackboard v9.1.

On the iPad, the bottom is cut off. On a Mac (13 inch the bottom is cut off.

On a Lenovo (as 13 inch)

In full screen view, we can see entire view on a 15" monitor, but not on iPad or Retina displays.

In non-full screen view, for any display size/type, we can't see entire view and need to scroll to see bottom navigation. If the window is sized small enough, it does switch over to the mid-tablet size layout.

Should we be able to expect them to adapt and be fully visible in non full-screen mode?

thanks amy
