Have noticed for a while that sometimes when applying a shadow in Captivate, the shadow is all skewed and random.
Still happening in 2017
I then need to close down captivate or turn shadow off and on, sometimes . .
Screenshot of recent example attached
Notice the text shadow
hed.
I know it looks ugly in Edit mode but in my experience the published output is fine. Is that not true for you?

Thanks Rod, yes you are absolutely correct, preview and publish fix the issue.
After all these years, i spent so much time trying to fix it in edit mode, and didn't think that all will be good in preview and publish.

For shapes there always has been a problem with inner shadows for HTML5 output on shapes.
In Editing mode, if you are on a retina screen, you have another shadow problem, and you'll see indeed skewed shadows. That bug (with others) will be solved in a future patch which is not yet available.
