slide titles

some titles show as the correct title on the preview and some just default to "slide #x"   how do I edit ?

Hi,

Presenter normally picks up the Slide Title which is specified within your Slide content.

However, when no title is given for a slide, Presenter will default the title to Slide no. within your project.

If you want to explicitly specify the slide title, it can be done by modifying the "Navigation Name" field within the Slide Manager. (See below screenshot)

Note: Slide Manager option is available on the Presenter ribbon.

To be more clear where Presenter gets the title it comes from any text in the Tile text box. If there is no Title text box on the slide it will default to Slide X, which you can modify in the Slide Manager tool as Zeeshan stated above.
