Slides don't always look the same in browser...

Afternoon all! Not sure if this is something I can control, and if so, how?? I've decided to create all of my lessons as responsive to prepare for the future (eww, don't really like it because of features that can't be used, but I do like the available templates better...but I digress!). So what I'm noticing though is that when I preview my lessons, sometimes the preview doesn't look exactly like my slide...it can skew items and make them look out of place. I attached a couple of pics below. One of the worst is trying to use the process tabs widget - the buttons look terrible.

So below, the first image is what it looks like in the browser, and the 2nd image is what it's supposed to look like. Any ideas??? Thanks.
