Hello!
I have a long interactive quiz/software demo... it's roughly 85 slides long.
Per the requirements of my LMS, I need to publish it as a .swf.
When reviewing the .swf, the quiz suddenly starts to slow... waaaaaay down about halfway through: slides transitioning slowly, mouse clicks taking 30 seconds (or longer) to register...
When I preview in Captivate, it works great. Fast.
Any suggestions?
Other helpful info:
- There is no FMR at all in this file.
- I have deleted all un-used items in the library.
Thanks for any help,
Rochelle

Not sure if this helps... but when the slowness begins, it also stops updating progress in the TOC. I can't post an image due to legal, but the checkboxes that mark progress just stop when the slowness begins. I can keep going very slowly... but no checkboxes appear after that point.

I cannot help you, stopped publishing to SWF more than one year ago, since Flash Player will disappear totally in the near future and many browsers and all mobile devices do not support it anymore. It is also clear that the Captivate team didn't improve SWF output anymore in this most recent release for tha same obvious reason. There is obviously a conflict between the LMS and the course. Did you try to test it on SCORM Cloud to see if it works fine there?
Just FYI: for SWF output a FMR slides should never be a problem. Deleting Unused items in the Library only has impact on the rax cptx file but none on the published file.
