Software Simulation in Captivate 9 - Error?

Over the last few days, I've been trying to record an eight minute Software Simulation in Captivate 9 (on a Windows 10 PC).  Everything works fine until I get to the end of the simulation and press the 'End' key.  When I press the 'End' key, rather then just stopping the recording and saving the simulation, Captivate annoyingly closes itself down.

I've tried recording the Software Simulation using the Video Demo feature and it works fine, but when I then try to record the same simulation using the Software Simulation feature, the system closes itself down again.

Can anyone help me with this issue please?

Do you run Captivate as Administrator? That is very important for capturing software sims.
