Software simulation issues in Captivate 2017

The red recording box is showing in my recording (whether I choose Manual or Automatic recording). The left side of the red recording box is also showing in the middle of the screen in the simulation. I read something about a problem with a responsive project, but this is not a responsive project. Also, the mouse is not aligned properly, and therefore does not click in the correct place in the screenshot.

What is the display percentage of your screen?

Thank you for your response. Not sure what you mean by "display percentage of your screen." Where would I find that? Is it a setting in Captivate or somewhere else?

Windows Settings > System > Display

It is a setting dependent on your OS. For recording it is important to set it to 100%.
