SOMETHING WENT WRONG WHILE CONTENT BLOCK INSERTION

I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING.  I JUST UPGRADED TO 12.6 FROM 12.5 AND GETTING SOMETHING WENT WRONG WHILE CONTENT BLOCK INSERTION ON A BUNCH OF SLIDES.  PROJECT IS DUE IN 2 DAYS.  I ALREADY MADE A BUNCH OF CHANGES ON THIS FILE.  BACKUPS ARE DOING THE SAME THING BECAUSE NOW I HAVE 12.6 ON MY MACHINE.  I can't even see what isn't loading. I'll have to go back to my test LMS and see what is missing.

I have this on a number of slides, ALL CONTAINING THE ACCORDION WIDGET.  ALL VERY COMPLEX SLIDES THAT I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO RECREATE.

The same thing has happened to us, 22 courses of elearning content that the widgets have broken, accordions, carousels... it is impressive that this happens at Adobe, it seems to me that they are laughing at us.

We had finished templates with accordions and carousels ready to be used... all the contents made before version 12.6 have disappeared and had to be redone... a disaster...

I just had to send this to a client:

Hello team. I was planning on delivering the final courses on Thursday, but hit a snag due to a bug that Adobe just released in the update of Adobe Captivate. This affected all customers, and they are promising an immediate fix. I’ll keep you postedUnfortunately this is completely out of my control.

Yes, I have had to do something similar. This update has hurt our work and the delivery of several projects. I insist, a company as old as Adobe, to fail in this way... it makes no sense for this to happen.

we should go back to using tools like Exe Learning and cancel all Captivate licenses to make them realize their mistakes.... then they get mad because people pirate their programs... it is normal that they do it, paying for this is a joke... we have been here for 2 days and we only found bugs. You can't drag and drop images, you can't scale the images of an accordion, the carousels stop working in the SCORM and the next buttons don't work...

We really appreciate your time and patience while we investigated this issue.
We would like to inform you that the problem you have reported is related to the accordion widget. The error is reproducible on the slides where the accordion widget is used. Specifically, it has been observed on slide numbers 26, 38, 44, 77, 90, 98, 108, 116, and 124.

To confirm the behavior, we created a test project in Captivate 12.5 using the accordion widget and then upgraded it to Captivate 12.6.
The same issue occurred, indicating that the problem is specific to the accordion widget in 12.6. Other widgets are unaffected.

We have logged this issue with our engineering team under
Bug No: CAP-4206343.

Meanwhile, You could follow the below mentioned Workarounds:
1. Delete and re-add the accordion widgets directly in Captivate 12.6 on the affected slides. This should resolve the issue.

2. Alternatively, you may choose to continue working in Captivate 12.5, where this problem does not occur.

I'm having the same exact issue here. Also finding that the drop down menu interaction and the Web Video have the same error message.
