Can someone please explain the steps for publishing a Captivate project to the internet? I select Publish->To Computer and zip the file when publishing. What are the next steps, including on the uploading to the internet side? Thank you.

Are you uploading to an LMS or just to a website?

Just to the internet. My webmaster said she followed the instructions I gave her, but it didn't work. So I'm trying to figure out if there is a problem with my instructions or if she missed a step. I've had problems uploading to the internet before (non-LMS) but believed that was a hosting problem due to settings disabled by that company.

Which specific version of Captivate are you using?

If it's Captivate 9.0.2 and you are publishing HTML5 for internet delivery, then you need to make sure that the web server is set up to allow the JSON mimetype.  You can check that with the web server administrator.

If you upload a zipped file to the internet you will need to then unzip it on the server before you will be able to link to the HTM or HTML file that launches everything else.

I'm using 9.0.2 and publishing for HTML5 delivery. I'll talk to the web server administrator to see if that's the problem. Thanks, Rod!
