I have uploaded a Captivate Memory Game Widget SWF file to Adobe Connect V9. I would like to load the file so that the Producer has full control over the SWF file instead of each individual participant.

Have you included the Memory Game Widget SWF in your zipped project folder?
Perhaps you haven't set Externalize Resources for Widgets to ON?

Thanks BDuckWorks,
I published the file directly to Adobe Connect from the drop down option in Captivate.
When I publish the zip file to my desktop and then try to share the zip file to my Connect Share Pod, I get an error message saying that the file is not supported.
And when I upload the .swf file from my desktop, it just gives me a blank screen.
I do have the Widgets checked under Externalize Resources.
Any ideas?
Thanks

If you don't have access to a local webserver, you should try uploading the package to SCORM.com and test it there.
Had you been able to publish earlier version to Connect?

Sorry for the delay. I was pulled into another project.
So, I've still had no luck. We don't use an LMS so we don't need to package it as SCORM (unless I am not aware of something). To answer your question about an earlier version to Connect - in my previous job, I was able to do this successfully using Cap 7 and Connect (I'm not sure which version).
To verify the expected result using SYNC - in my previous experience, I upload a Captivate SWF file to Adobe Connect. All users are able to control their own file from their computer but when the Host clicks SYNC, the participant view should match up to to the HOST view. IN addition, if the HOST unclicks SYNC, the participant should be able to watch the HOST run through the SWF file but does not have control to click the screen.
Is that correct? And if yes, do you have any ideas how to fix this problem?
Thanks

I would search for Adobe Connect support of Captivate 9.0.2, specifically the addition of JSON files.
Other than that, I have to say I'm not familiar with Adobe Connect. Is there a forum to support that product? (Moderator?)

Thanks. I will go to the Connect forum to see if they have any insight.

I could move this thread to the Connect forum, but I doubt very much you'll get more help there since this is typical Captivate. What do you want?

I have validated that the Captivate file has the correct publish settings. I am looking to find out if there are any settings in Connect that would prevent the SYNC function to not work correctly or if there is an explanation as to why SYNC isn't working in Connect. Do you have any ideas what needs to be adjusted to fix the problem?

Hi Lilybiri - if there are no Connect settings that need to be adjusted, can you validate for me what the exact publish settings need to be included in the Captivate file to ensure that the SWF file works in Connect using the SYNC as expected?
