Syncing recorded audio to screenrecords

Hi,

I recorded audio I want to sync with my captivate slides. I want to be able to change the slide length to fit my narration.

I imported the audio via audio -> import -> spread the audio to slides (I don't have the proper english text in the software because I use it in german)

As I want to drag the marker of slide 2 it tells me that the minimum display lenght is reached. But the minimum length for Captivate is the whole audio recording.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your replies.

Which version do you use? What did you answer in the dialog box that popped up? You can post it in German, will manage.

I am using Adobe Captivate 8.0.1.242.

I imported a .wav file and chose "Audiodatei über mehrere Folien verteilen".

When I want to move the slider from "Folie 2" (Sheet 2) it tells me "Sie haben die Mindestanzeigedauer erreicht für Folie 1".

The minimum display time of "Folie 1" is the length of the audio file though.

I just double checked, because I always use the last option, keeping the duration of the first slide, and distribute over the other slides. That option will lead to a last slide that will be extended to fit the rest of the audio clip. Then I'll choose Audio, Edit, Project and start by dragging the slide markers to begin with the last slide. That is my work flow. Indeed, find the second option really bit confusing, but you can also try to start from the end instead of starting with the first slide.

Sorry for the late answer, was pretty busy
