Hello,
I am converting all of my Captivate 5.5 projects to Captivate 2017. When the table of contents is used after the project has been converted the slide that is jumped to using the table of contents starts at about 3 seconds into the slide rather than at the beginning. How can I fix this so that if the table of contents is used the slide starts at the very beginning instead of 3 seconds into the slide.
Thank you for your help on this!
Amy
Do not forget to leave a gap before and after each audio clip to avoid that CP sees the audio as a long project audio clip. Audio has to be loaded On Enter for each slide, and audio files tend to be large.

Try resetting the TOC using the icon found in the bottom left corner of the Skin Editor dialog.

Thank you for your response - I tried this and unfortunately it did not fix the issue. I also went into each slide and selected the "reset master slide" option and this also did not fix the issue. Please post any other options you can think of for me to try. Thank you, Amy

Themes have changed a lot between 5.5 and 2017. The skin is part of the theme. Is it possible, just for testing, to apply one of the native themes of CP2017 to a project?

I tried switching the theme for the playbar and the skin to CoolBlue and unfortunately that did not fix the issue.

Not the playbar, please, but the complete THEME. Use the big button on top left, and switch to one of the provided themes.
This may clarify what a theme means now, since Captivate 6. That was one of the biggest changes from 5.5 to 6:

Personally I would never try to upgrade projects between versions which are release with a time difference of over 7 years. From 7 to 8 was another big change, and 9 to 2017 as well.

Oh, I see, thank you for the clarification. I just tried this and unfortunately it did not fix the issue. I have narrowed it down to an audio issue - the timing of the items on the screen appear to not be affected but the audio skips ahead. My next step will be to try to reimport the audio for each slide and see if that helps. Thank you for your assistance, any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. It may come down to needing to do a complete rebuild of my projects.

Thank you so much for this tip, I will give this a try. I have not left gaps at the beginning and end of the audio and you are correct that the delay seems to be worse for the projects with more audio. I will see if this helps.

This worked, thank you! I am converting about 150 projects so I am happy to have found a solution that doesn't require a complete rebuild for all of my projects. I appreciate your swift responses. Amy
