Text submission boxes requiring double-click to move to next slide

I'm using Captivate 9. This is not an issue when previewing the video, but once it's uploaded to the LMS, the Submit button that goes with text submission boxes requires a double-click to move to the next slide. Only an issue in IE and only with the text submission Submit, not any other click boxes. Has anyone encountered this?

Can you post a screenshot of the timeline? I suppose you are talking about the Submit button of a Text Entry Box? We have to check the pausing points that you have on the slide, that is why I'm asking to see the timeline.

I was wondering if it was a pausing issue. I've tried changing the pause to be at the end of the slide and that doesn't seem to make a difference. Another note: Adobe Support said it was an issue with my LMS, because it ran fine in their SCORM Cloud. But I'm hoping there is some kind of workaround.

You can test yourself in SCORM Cloud, within limits it is free. Try it out with the browser you want to use.

Can you post a screenshot of the Properties panel of the TEB? Is it validated or not? Which actions to you trigger?

It's validated and on success it's supposed to move to the next slide. I already tested in Adobe's SCORM Cloud sandbox using IE, which is the browser that's being problematic. I need it to work in all browsers so our clients can use what they have. It's fine in IE in the cloud, but we don't use the cloud, unfortunately. I've opened a support ticket with our LMS but meanwhile I'm hoping there is a workaround or some setting that I'm not aware of that could fix the issue from my end.

Just to test something...deselect the option for Failure caption and the one for Pause for Success and Failure captions, then republish and upload to the LMS.

Does it then seem to take two clicks or does it now work without a delay?

Thank you, I tried that. It still requires a double-click, unfortunately.

Did you try to reproduce this issue in a new, blank project? I start to wonder if the project is corrupted?

I have seven projects with this same issue in all of them, but I will try that.

I have a vague memory of seeing this type of issue but long ago. Cannot remember the cause.

Out of curiosity, what were you looking for with the pausing points? What would have been problematic there? For future reference.

I wanted to know if there was no second pausing point. There are so many issues mentioned here on the forum because the user doesn't understand how pausing is working. You had only pause for the TEB, so that was not the issue.
