Searched and didn't quite come across any solutions to a current issue that I just found while...of course troubleshooting something completely not related.
Anyhow, here's what I have:
Here's the issue. With the "next" button disabled on the quiz slide, the learner is not able to advance past the first quiz slide, thus getting stuck and having to exit out of the window. Not sure if I'm missing something. I've done plenty of quizzes with required passing scores and have not had this issue in the past. Is there a way to have the "next" button disabled on the quiz slide but enabled for reviewing the quiz slide?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Go into the Master Slide view and find the Master Slide for each particular type of quiz slide. Select the Clear button on the Master Slide and you should find that the Align toolbar options become active, allowing you to bring it to the top of the stacking order.
When you go back to the normal slide view, is the Clear button now on top?

If you are on Captivate 9, there is now an extra quiz setting you can select to have special Back and Next buttons display during Quiz Review.
If you are NOT on Captivate 9, then you can select the option for the Next button to appear on the Quiz slides, but hide it UNDERNEATH the Clear button.

Thanks Rod - I'm on 8. I've got the Next button enabled now for the quiz slide but my arrange option is grayed out (to be able to send back/backward) and the Next button doesn't seem to want to stay behind the clear button at the moment.
Thoughts?

Reason can be because you unchecked the Next button before. Uncheck the Clear button, than enable it again, probably the normal stacking order will be restored. I described this tweaking option and more in this blog post:

Rod/Lily -
Thanks for the responses. Working through the issue now while leveraging both suggestions and that appears to have done the trick.
Appreciate the help!
