TOC not appearing in my Captivate 9 project

New Here ,

I created a TOC in a Captivate project and when I preview the project, my TOC details are not appearing. I created slide groups prior.  Does anyone know how I get the TOC to appear correctly?

Did you define the TOC after creating the slide groups? Do you see them correctly when you open Project, Table of Contents? Maybe you need to click the Refresh TOC button:

Hi dianer,

I think I ran into a similar issue on a project and it had to do with the "Refresh" and groups. For some reason when I hit the Refresh I would lose all my customized TOC details. Instead it gave me generic slide names ("Slide 10, Slide 11 etc") is this your issue as well?

My advice with regards to table of contents is they should be one of the last things you develop. Reason is that if you make changes to your course structure, the TOC can get out of sync with what's actually there. I have a very detailed tutorial on the table of content feature if you would like to check it out (sorry for the length but there are a lot of features in TOC):
