Ross,

If you purchased Cp8 from Adobe.com you should be able to download your links from Manage Account > Plans & Products > Order History | View your orders.

I've provided some links for you if you acquired Cp8 a different way (you will have to copy the text and paste into a new browser tab for the links to work).

Thanks Paul,

that worked great.

Re the purchased products, I have purchased CP6 (perp download only link), 7(subs)8(subs) & 9(subs), however when checking my products on Adobe's sight, I can only download cp7.

Real shame that as sometimes we still have people using CP6 and makes it easier to edit their work.....

Do you know if there is a way to get hold of all of those older versions?

Kind regards and thanks again

Rossco

Adobe does sunset older software. For example, I purchase both the Adobe eLearning Suite 2.0 and 2.5. I can see those purchases on My Account with Adobe, however the download links are no longer there.

Your best hope is someone who is willing to share the installation files. I would offer you my files on Cp6 but I skipped that version and went straight from 5.5 to 7.

My advice to everyone is to create a backup of your installation files that you can keep on a portable drive. I seldom need anything other than the latest versions of my software but you never know when they will come in handy.

For example, I run Creative Cloud so I don't really need the installation files for the Adobe eLearning Suite anymore. Someday in the future I may decide that I don't need Creative Cloud or can no longer afford it. In which case I can reinstall the Adobe eLearning suite and have perpetual copies of software like Photoshop, or Audition (two applications I cannot imagine not having).
