Update 9.0.2.421

The buggiest update ever! How can I go back to 9.0.1.xxx (I don't remember the exact number)? SVG's don't display properly, they are all blacked out. They show up perfectly in preview, but how can you do anything with a blacked out slide? Changing state on other slides other than the one the advanced action is running on doesn't work either. Anybody having the same problem? Yes, I have cleared the cache dozens of times. Yes, I have uninstalled Captivate and reinstalled it all over. Yes, I have even installed a new OS system, and started all over again. Thanks in advance.

Did you clear Preferences and delete Layouts folder in Public documents?

Yes, I did. As I said, it's a brand new install, both captivate and MAC OS. I discovered that the change state option on other slides only applies to SVGs. Any other images or objects react perfectly. I would really like to go back to the 9.01 version, where the main improvement was exactly the "retain state on slide revisit" option. I use a lot of svgs, I can work around this, and change the ones I need to have different states to pngs, but it used to work perfectly before...

Found a workaround. Create a shape, any shape, with 0% opacity and no borders, create a state with whatever svg I want, and voilá, it works. Still want to go back to version 9.01, though, and still haven't solved the problems of the svg's blacking out (sometimes they white out, very weird - but they display perfectly in the browser when previewing).

Hi,

We are unable to see the issue on our end. Can you send us the project you are using along with the SVGs which are blacked out? You can upload it to a shared location e.g. Dropbox and email the link to mdas@adobe.com

Thanks,
Mohana
