UPDATED: "Back" button doesn't work in CP8 project

UPDATE: After further testing, it appears that the Back button works once the user clicks the "Submit All" button.

Our similar projects allow the user to navigate backward & forward at any time during the quiz; I'd like to get  this one to do the same.

====================================

My current CP8 project is a quiz w/ 7 questions – not a
responsive project.

Project is set to allow backward movement (Edit-->Preferences -->
Quiz Settings-->Allow Backward Movement is checked).

Each quiz slide has buttons for "Next," "Clear," Back," and "Submit All."

"Back" button doesn't work for any slide, but the other buttons are working as expected.

We have built multiple projects using this same set-up, so I have compared to other

projects that are working OK & I don't see anything different. There are no advanced actions or conditional actions.

I'm Using Captivate 8.0.3.290

Tested using Preview Project, Preview HTML5 in Browser, and Preview in Adobe Edge Inspect.

Published & tested the HTML output in IE 11 and Chrome 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit) and also Chrome 59.0.3071.109.

Also tested the published PDF export in the same browsers, always w/ the same results.

Downloaded the patch from https://elearning.adobe.com/2014/07/update-on-captivate-html-5-content-playback-issue-in-google-chro...

as well as the recent security patch from https://elearning.adobe.com/2017/06/captivate-8-and-9-security-updates/ .

Re-started Captivate & re-published the entire project.

Cleared my cache in Captivate, IE, and Chrome.

Same results: "Next" button & "Submit All" buttons work fine, but "Back" button still doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks!
