Use buttons to display images

I'm having difficulty getting images to reveal themselves using smart shapes as buttons.

I have been going around in circles all day...all I'm trying to do is get images to pop-up when you click in the area of a map.

I have been using smart shapes to design the buttons, then importing the image...I think I do the correct process

1.     Shape - use as a button

2.     Organise the style.

3.     Actions - 'on success' show the image

4.     Then into Project 'advanced actions' and do what is required there...but I can't seem to get the button to act as a trigger.

Could somebody please give me a step-by-step process?

Regards,

Chris

Maybe you forgot to assign the advanced action to the Success event of the Shape button?

If you are on Captivate 8, you could use shared actions, certainly if you want to use that action for different shape buttons that will show different images. If you want to do this on one slide, also reflect if you want the images to stay forever, or to disappear when a new shape button is clicked.

Lilybiri,

Many thanks for your reply, apologies for not getting back sooner...the answer did lie in advanced actions, which I have now managed to solve...
