Using Page Up key

I am creating an HTML5 software simulation where the correct answer is to press the Page Up key on the keyboard. This advances to the next slide, but also the browser reads the keystroke and scrolls to the top, confusing my test takers.

Is there a way to capture the Page Up keystroke in my simulation, but not scroll the browser window?
