I have version 7 of Captivate and recently got version 9. The serial number for 7 does not work for 9. Can someone help me? Chat gets stuck and does not go any further to actually chat with CS. Thanks for the help.

Since you mention a serial number, you had a perpetual license. Diid you

buy a new license for CP9?

Are you sure it is possible to upgrade from 7.to 9? I looked it up in this document:

Frequently Asked Questions FAQ for Adobe Captivate

Only CP8 licenses can be upgraded to 9, CP7 users have to buy a new license, which means you need a new serial number.

I talked to my boss last evening and she said we did upgrade, but we received new Captivate 9 serial numbers which she passed onto me. Thanks for your help.
