We had done a screen capture in adobe Captivate based on recommended settings, but found that there is a clarity issue. The video colour mode selected is 32 bit.
The system specifications are Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit operating system and the RAM is 8GB. The Graphics Card used is Standard VGA Graphics Adapter.
In the captured video, the logo on the right top corner appears pixelated.
The overall video clarity is affected.
How do we sort this out?
Any other specifications to be taken care while recording a video in captivate?
Thank You.

This looks to me like you may have resized the logo from an original image that was larger. Is this the case?
If so, then I don't think Captivate is the cause of the issue. If your image is a raster graphic and not a vector graphic then changing its dimensions will always result in some degradation of clarity.
See if your company has a branded image that is much closer to the size that you need it to be in your Captivate module. It's unlikely they will have a scalable vector image of their logo, but they should have a JPG format that has aliasing of the edges so that the effect is not jagged.

Logo is not resized. It looks pixelated only in the recorded video. Not only the logo all other elements in the screen have some clarity issue.
It is very clear in the browser window. How can I retain the same clarity in my recorded video?

Is this a cpvc or a cptx project?

This is a cpvc project.

I think you're going to find this is as good as it gets.

What were the publish settings? Did you rescale?

No, It's not rescaled. The video colour mode selected is 32 bit.

So the published output is NOT scaled UP from the capture size, correct?
How about trying to scale it down?
If you output to, say, 800x600, does that improve the issue? If so, then just try working the resolution down between 800x600 and the captured resolution...
(note, if you set the width to 800 and keep 'Aspect Ratio' checked, which I'd recommend, the height will likely be less than 600...as 1280x924 is neither true 4:3 or 16:9... In fact, if you can't find a solution with the current capture, you may want to try recapturing and ensuring your capture area is true 4:3...i.e. 1280x960)

Erik, maybe you missed this: OP is not talking about a cptx project, but a cpvc (Video Demo) project.

Good to point out! And I'm not terribly familiar with video demo projects...but why does that matter?
The first steps I suggest relate to the output panel he shows - just scale-down the image output.
The second steps have to do with the capture area...can you not specify the exact capture area when setting up a video demo project?
