Video Demo does not show Tableau Tooltip pop-up window

Very new to captivate.  Trying to record myself using Tableau Desktop reporting software.  Tableau has a feature that when you hover over certain points on a chart, a Tooltip will pop up with additional info.  However, when I'm using the Video Demo in Captivate this window does not pop up.  It's like Captivate is blocking it.  I've confirmed it only happens when recording a Video Demo or in the screen prior to clicking the Record button in the Video Demo menu.

Any thoughts on why this might be happening?

I tried this myself and got the same results. I tried playing with all the settings for recording and couldn't get the result you need. I couldn't tell you why it doesn't work, but my guess is you won't be able to make it work.

I would recommend using another recording tool.

A less expensive alternative that works great is Screencastify for Chrome -

It's only $2/month billed annually. I've used it before and it works great. The only feature I really wish it had was the pan and zoom.
