Hi!  I'm doing a software simulation.  On slide 10 I have a video recorded using the capture in Captivate.  Later on slide 20 I capture a different video.  In the project both videos are correct, but when I preview slide 20, it is showing the video from slide 10 an additional time.

Welcome to the forum.

It is absolutely necessary to know which exact version you are using. Find the full version number under Help, About Captivate.

What do you mean by a 'video recorded'? Normally a software simulations in any mode (which mode was also not mentioned) captures static slides, except for slides where mouse movement is involved. Personally I try to avoid those slides in version of CP before 12 and replace them by Video Demo slides. Reason: the old FMR slides are based on SWF technology (FLV slides) and that old format needs to be converted to MP4 on publishing, but that is not always working fine. Maybe this is the cause of your problem?
