video playing differently (captivate 9) in IE and Chrome

Not a huge issue, but the videos in the slides do not start as quickly in IE. anyone know why?

additionally, the play bar looks different in chrome and IE. same style/shape of buttons, but different colors. what's going on?

and the "hint" on click boxes acts differently as well. in chrome, when I rollover a click box the hint box stays on screen while my mouse is over the clickbox. in IE the hint shows up very very briefly, and disappears almost immediately. It looks like it's flickering.

There have been some posts recently to the effect that the current versions of Chrome have some incompatibility issues with Captivate content and these colour changes seem to be evidence of that issue.
