video sometimes replays in published output

I have published an induction that includes some video

I have noticed and had feedback that occasionally (thankfully rare but intermittent) some videos will replay before the user can advance.

The main culprit is the CEO message. This video has the controls hidden to stop people advancing. It starts with an intro backdrop IN the video and then the CEO speaks. At the end of the video the user briefly sees the intro backdrop and then it goes to the next slide OR the video replays...

I have a couple of OPTIONAL videos with the controls hidden where the videos should loop back to the previous or other slide. The controls circumvent this when the user clicks next and they are thrown out of slide order. These are the ones that seem to misbehave

Solution I am trying is to apply video 'fade-out' but am not sure this will fix it

I do not totally understand the issue, but would have suggested a fade-out anyway. Short fade transitions do solve quite a lot of those issues.
