Was going to purchase v8 but now v9 is out - not sure what I should do?

Was going to purchase v8 but now v9 is out - not sure what I should do? Is there any significant benefits? Are costs the same as v8? Website has a mix of v8 reviews on v9 pages.

Also need to run whatever I purchase on my laptop and desktop - do I need to get permission to download on both?

I suggest you just purchase the Subscription.  Then you'll always have the latest version.

Cp9 looks to be definitely worth it to me.

I'd definitely say go with Cp9, and use the subscription.

‌Agree with subscription being the best choice. You can install on both laptop and desktop.

Hi Fremo,

It looks like Adobe raised the prices on the Captivate 9 standalone/perpetual versions by a bit: +$100 for the full, and +$50 for the upgrade.

But new features look good on version 9, so that would be the better choice (so long as you have a 64-bit system)...  You should be able to install and run on up to two computers‌, no matter which version or buying option you choose.

If you want to download & install the new product or trial without the Akamai Download Manager, then you can use the Captivate 9 direct links.
