What resolution for iPad Pro 12.9"

New Here ,

I'm developing a Captivate kiosk application to run on the IPad Pro 12.9". The device resolution is 2732 x 2048.

I'm wondering what resolution to set the Captivate to. Using the device's native resolution makes things difficult to preview and share from my desktop.

Any thoughts on a realistic resolution for the Captivate project? Thank you.

John

That device is not yet in viewportsizes.com. However: it is not the screen resolution but the Browser resolution that you have to take into account. My Surface Pro has a retina screen and similar screen resolution, but the browser resolution is much lower.

Thank you. But this is a kiosk application that will display full screen on the iPad Pro, so at its native resolution.

But now that I think about it, HD video is 1920 x 1080. I can see a reason to go larger than that, of course adjusted for the iPad's 4:3 aspect ratio.
