There is no real difference at all, it is the same application, has same features.

The 29$ subscription means that you 'hire' the application, that you'll have all upgrades and patches during your subscription for free. You can have two versions installed, but not more with that license. Moreover it is linked to your personal Adobe ID.

There is no real difference at all, it is the same application, has same features.

The 29$ subscription means that you 'hire' the application, that you'll have all upgrades and patches during your subscription for free. You can have two versions installed, but not more with that license. Moreover it is linked to your personal Adobe ID.

The perpetual license means you own the application, can use it 'eternally' and it is NOT linked to your Adobe ID. When a new version appears you'll have to pay for the upgrade (if possible). You can have as many versions on your system as you want with perpetual licenses. That can be important if you need to work for clients that use older versions.

Beware: I'm only a user, not working for Adobe, this is what I see as main differences. Crossing my fingers that someone from the staff will give you more details.
