It was suggested duel monitors was a problem, tried disconnecting them and the problem remained.  Any suggestions.

It is fixed to the resolution of the existing project, you cannot choose

another resolution. Only for a new to be recorded simulation project you

will be able to change the resolution. With the Slides button you insert

slides in an existing project.

Recording sim slides in an existing project always has been in the

resolution of that project. Or do I misunderstand?

I think you might have misunderstood.  I have the project.  I am inserting an additional software simulation into the project.  None are in there now.  Slides button > Software simulation.   As I go to record the simulation the red box that surrounds the area to be recorded will not resize to record the window (or any window.)  It appear fixed.  Why?  It should resize and capture the entire desired window. Thanks for responding.

Modify, Rescale but it will always lead to quality loss.

THANK YOU!!!!  You are brilliant.  With some odd manipulation of the "new" project it is now working as I would have expected.  Thank you so much.  Take care.
