Why doesn't a Duplicated Slide appear in the TOC? How can I get it to show up?
I am using Captivate 8.
Thanks
Whenever you change something in Captivate like renaming slides, grouping slides, duplicating you have to Refresh the TOC with that tiny button. I will mostly wait with creation of the TOC until the project is (almost) finished.

I ended up just copying and pasting the objects into a new slide. However, I would like to know how to have a duplicated slide show up in the TOC if possible.

Did you reset the TOC after duplicating the slide?

Thanks for your answer. For some strange reason Captivate 8 started showing the duplicates in the TOC now when I create them. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that many of my slides were Grouped together.

I have one more question concerning a duplicate slide and TOC.
Can I create a duplicate slide and have the previous slide automatically go to the duplicate slide and NOT have the duplicate slide show up on the TOC?
Thanks

If you duplicate a slide in the filmstrip, the duplicate is automatically inserted after the original slide. If you don't change the navigation by a button with a Jump to action, the playhead will move from the original slide when it is at its last frame to the first frame on the duplicate slide.
If you don't want the duplicate to show up in the TOC you'll have to uncheck it in the TOC, there is no automatic way.
