Word Search Interaction

New Here ,
Feb 07, 2018 Feb 07, 2018

I'm trying to insert a word search into my responsive project in captivate 2017.  It seems to insert just fine, but the puzzle disappears before it can be done.  I've tried extending the slide manually, but then it stays on far too long after a user completes the puzzle.  Is there a way to keep it showing until completed and then move to the next slide?  What am I missing??

The Word Search interaction is a static interaction. That means that it is nor pausing the slide by default as do the interactive interactions. You have to insert an interactive object to pause the slide. Use a shape button, a click box or a button. More information:

Thanks, I think I've got a "click to continue" button inserted that works.  I'm still having some trouble though.  If I choose an incorrect set of letters, the puzzle "show answers" button appears, and it won't accept any more input.  Is there a way to change that?

Thanks again for your help!  I think I've got it doing what I want now.
