Workspace off screen - Captivate 8.0.1.242

So, just yesterday I opened Captivate (I'm a mac user), ready to work and the welcome screen loaded in the top left-hand corner of my desktop.  Upon dragging the window into view, I opened my project and nothing happened.  When selecting "Show all Windows" I can see the project title, however no visual is present for the project - only a tiny (maybe 10x10 pixel box) when hovering over and selecting.  I do use an external monitor as a secondary workspace, but have disconnected, reconnected, restarted the program, restarted the computer, toggled my display settings within properties, and even deleted the properties within the applications folder and restarted the program.  I am beyond frustrated and without a "Window>Zoom" option I have no idea what to do.  HELP!

Did you ever use an external monitor? Can you try to clean the Preferences, there is a file in the subfolder Utils of the installation folder of Captivate that can be run (there is one for Mac, I'm on Win).

I found the utility to reset prefs, ran it and reopened.  Worked like a charm.  Thanks so much!
