Hello Prime Community. Happy Tuesday.

Is anyone else in the community in the middle of building (or has built) onboarding content in Prime? If so, I would like to swap stories, approaches with you (I'm building my content now).

Let's connect. Thanks.

Regards,

Thomas H.

Hi Knowledgem,

What has your workflow been in building your onboarding content?

As for me, it has come in pieces because, internally I have a learning committee, so I work in an iterative fashion.

Example:

  • Build version 1
  • Send to learning committee for feedback
  • Build version 2
  • ...rinse and repeat...

Regarding content. The static content (stuff that will not change from one onboarding interaction to the next, e.g., attendance policy) is stored in Prime in an onboarding course.

As of this writing, the actual checklist a hiring manager moves through with their new-hire will be stored on a network drive.

I'm eager to hear what your process/content creation has been like.

Regards,

Thomas H.
