Can an adminstrator update the date of an external certification if say a user inputs it incorrectly? And is there a way for the learner to see the actual date of the certification they inputted?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Adobe Captivate Prime Team.

An Administrator does not have an option to modify the certification data.

The completion date is determined from one of the 2 options below.

1. The date of completion submitted by the user.

2. The date when the Manager approves a certificate.

Kindly let me know if any further assistance is required.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,

From all my testing this feature is seriously lacking. You have 2 choices and even those choices are limited.

1 show the completion as the date it was approved. In 99% of the cases that will be a useless date.

2 Take what the learner entered. This is even limited because the learner can not use a date prior to the date the certification was created. So if you create it today you can not enter any external certifications prior to today. Not a great system.

I often wonder if Adobe lets any real users into the process of creating new features?

Adobe has told me that the way to get around the date issue is through migration. I have not done any testing yet.
