Hi Team
Is it possible to make a File Submission (Activity Module) a mandatory but still wouldn't require the approval of the instructor?
If so, kindly guide the steps.

Hi Ankit,
Thank you for contacting Adobe Captivate Prime Team.
In a file submission, we need an instructor to approve the submissions. It's not possible to complete the submission without the approval of the instructor.
Kindly let me know what are you trying to achieve so that we can find some other way to do it.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Team
The use case is very simple. We just don't want the learner to complete the course without making the file submission. Once the learner makes the submission, the course should get completed and not wait for instructor's approval. Any way to acheive this?

Hi Ankit,
Glad to hear from you.
Currently, there is no way to achieve this in Prime using the available options.
However, we can do it like this:
1. We can add a second module with a single Quiz slide. You can create a single slide SCORM file with one question to check that "I have submitted the file".
2. The first module will be file submission. It seems that file validation is not important here.
While creating the course we can set that the course will be completed if the user completes one module.
Once the user completes the Quiz, the course will be marked as completed.
So there will be 2 modules in the course:
1. File submission
2. SCORM file with one question that the user has submitted the file.
3. We can create the course with completion criteria if the user completes one module, the course will be completed.
The file submission will never be completed as no instructor is going to approve it. So if the user answers the Quiz, the user will be marked as completed.
I hope this workaround works for you.
