Instances-best practices?

Does anyone understand Save to Course Settings action on instances? Also having a hard time figuring out the best practice for the default instance especially for instructor led and live webinar training..

You're required to fill out a date/time info for live webinars using the Zoom integration which seems unnecessary if as a best practice you don't use your default instance as an actual session instance.

Anyone have any tips best practices with instances (especially the default instance for live sessions?)

Those are some great questions that would probably be best answered in a training session.  Do you know if you are a Clarix client?  If so we could walk you through these different pieces.  Give me a call at 585-899-5300 extension 166 if you aren't sure.

Thank you for your reply. We are not client of Clarix, but I was able to finally figure out the workflow between Instance Defaults, Apply Default Settings and Save to Course settings (wish there were more tutorials showcasing this!). I've decided to not use the Default instance as an actual session (even if it requires you to fill out session details at course creation for Zoom integration).

Hi @KCH22 we are running into similar issues while creating our classroom courses. Would you be willing to answer a few questions for our team?
