Link from Wordpress site to Captivate Prime course ?

Hello

I have never used Captivate Prime, and i ask this question be course a friend want's to used this platform to run his courses.

His site is in Wordpress.

Can he put a link where the students can click, be taken to the Captivate Prime site, and register and enter his course ?

And if, is there a specific or best way to do this ?

Hi Carsten,

Yes this would be possible however there would be 2 links that would be used to achieve this.

The first link would be for the learners registration so that the learner can register onto the LMS system. To generate the self registation link please follow the below steps.

Self registration

Using this feature, you can enable employees of your organization to register themselves as learners to Captivate Prime account.

1: Choose Self Registration tab. Click Add Group. A pop-up dialog appears.

2: Enter profile name and the manager name of the employee. Click Save.

Alternatively, you can click Add at the upper-right corner of the page and click Self registration. Enter the details in the pop-up dialog as mentioned in above steps.

3: A URL appears with an option to copy. Copy the url and send it in an e-mail to the intended learners.

Learners can register themselves by accessing the url.

Now once the learner is registered onto the system, we would require the second link that would be for the course that the learner wants to enroll in.

To generate the course link please follow the below steps.

1: Login as an administrator on Captivate Prime.

2: Click on Courses.

3: Navigate to the course that you would like to share on the website.

4: Hover your mouse over the Ellipsis on the course.

5: Select the option copy URL as shown in the figure below.

You may use these two links on the website to register and enroll learners for a course from your website.
